About Kelley Shields
Kelley Shields received a BFA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1987 and has successfully managed a career in the arts for the last 20 years. She first worked as an Art Director for Tucker Wayne Luckie, one of the largest advertising agencies in the Southeast. She produced film and print campaigns for regional and national clients such as Holiday Inn World Wide, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Bell South and Aids Outreach. Awards include, a Clio finalist, a bronze in The New York Festival, and National First Place Agri-Marketing Association. She was featured in ADWEEK and Art Direction. From there she started her own business Kelley Shields Design, Inc. designing functional art sold in Nordstrom, Walt Disney and other national and regional retailers. KSD was contracted to produce designs for TAG and JC Penny’s. She was featured in Southern Accents and Interior Design magazines. After that she branched into interior space planning for both residential and corporate clients including the new Executive Business Center for Siemens Building Technologies corporate headquarters in Chicago. She has recently turned to her first passion painting, producing a series of large scale abstract oils. Through hands on arts education, she is also engaging children in the creative process and passing on her love of art.
